The line graph informs the number
of male and female graduates in Canadian universities from 1992 to 2006.
The striking feature of the line
graph is that after 2000 the number of male and female students in university
kept on increasing.
Initiating with less than 1 lakh,
the number of female students increased noticeably to around 105000 till 1995. Between
1995 and 1997, there was a slight decrease in their numbers. From this point,
females' participation continuously augmented for the rest of the year and at
last, they were noticed at around 105000 comparatively two times more than
their male counterparts.
On the other side, Canadian
universities had 70000 male graduates in 1992 and like females initially, their
numbers also Rose noticeably. After 1995, it had a downward trend for three
consecutive years. after being a little stable for a couple of years, the
presence of male students increased with negligible fluctuations till 2006 when
there were approximately 95000 students or when 95000 Male students were
studying over there.
