Since last few years, pollution, as well as traffic, have become major problems and it is thought that to put a halt to those problems, rise in the price of fuel can do the trick. However, such a way would add some other problems according to me. And, in further paragraphs, I will render some other ways to shrink the problems of traffic and pollution.

Increasing fuel prices will make circumstances more difficult for poor people and the middle class who have been facing already some other problems and inflation is one of them. Meanwhile, the government increases the prices of fuel, and those people have to face problems in terms of earnings especially, those who have to travel from one place to another. Hence, I would say that such a method will make things so worse for those people.

However, instead of making a rise in the price of petrol and diesel. The higher authorities must look for other ways. Like people should be encouraged to plant more and more trees to stop pollution. Doing so, not only will give help to stop pollution but also benefit to fall in global temperature. Another solution for the traffic problem is that very old vehicles which release more Co2 over the modern vehicles should be banned. As a result, we would have less traffic congestion and pollution too.

In conclusion, according to mentioned above points, if the government brings a rise in fuel prices, it will lead to further problems for middle-class families. Nevertheless,  planting trees and putting a ban on old automobiles will result in fewer traffic-related problems and pollution.
