It has been seen over the recent years that the migration of educated and skilled workers has increased significantly. However, it has caused a lot of problems in poor countries. In this essay, I intend to elaborate on these difficulties along with some remedial measures.

First of all, it decreases the pace of development of underprivileged nations. It is undeniable that to fetch a great deal of success, a nation requires a great deal of highly educated professionals. Even they are a backbone of developed regions. But if their nation has brain drain, it is less likely to improve. Apart from economic development, the locals of that area also encounter a lack of many essential things like proper medical treatments, transportation and etc. For example, in North India, thousands of people move to Western economies every year which is why there is improper hospitalization and other facilities. As a result, these people have to travel to other areas to get such amenities which cost them a lot.

To curb this problem, the government has to play the leading role. Primarily, the pay scale has to be satisfactory. It is commonly seen that the majority of employees in underdeveloped or developing countries are unsatisfied with their salaries so think about other options. If these workers are given attractive salary packages in their native nations, this plight can be mitigated. Secondary, the government needs to give them extra facilities which they get in other countries like job security, bonus, insurance and some benefits to their family members. It seems that if these plans are executed properly this problem can be uprooted.

In the end, the migration of professionals towards developed regions is highly problematic for their own country however it can be controlled by providing them with some extra facilities.
