The chart below shows the changes that took place in three different areas of crime in Newport City Centre from 2003 to 2012.

Initiating with around 3400 the amount of burglary-related crime increased to 3700 in the very next year. From this point, Manchester had good control over such mishappenings and the rate of burglary being committed declined to roughly 1000 in 2008. After a negligible rise in 2009, the rate of burglary got stabilized at around 1500 events per year.

Secondly, car theft was not that much common in Manchester initially as burglary. It was in between 2000 and 2500 times till 2008, however, then it started to rise dramatically. It went from little more than 2000 incidents in 2800 to around 2800 causes in 2012.

Overall, Manchester had so many criminals engaged in a burglary, while in the end it successfully lowered their number.
