It has been seen over the last few years that the age at which offenders emerge/ people become offenders is going down. The particular reasons behind this: violent movies and unemployment are discussed along with suitable measurements to ameliorate the situation.
Vandalism in the movies,
nowadays, has reached a point that has never been seen before. Although it is
widely known that it affects teenagers adversely as they have a vulnerable
mind, nothing has been done so far to deter it. The simple logic behind these
movies is they allure younger by showing fights, actions and etc. in order to
earn profits not caring about the fact that viewers are learning illicit
activities from their movies. Besides it, a dearth of job opportunities
also leads to young ones becoming a criminal. Nowadays youth wants to possess
everything shortly and when they are unable to do so, they intend to do illegal
acts to satiate their needs or ambitions. These are the two prominent causes
behind youngsters becoming offenders at small ages.
To curb this situation, firstly
government has to come to the front. It has to ban or restrict stimulating
elements out of movies. Movies that are inculcating positivity, a hardworking
mindset, mindfulness and other meaningful ideas should be allowed to release
only. Such action will certainly work for the whole society as children will
not be diverted to illegal paths through entertainment. Apart from it,
enhancement in the workplaces will definitely prove conducive. It is shown many
times in the news that the majority commit crimes so that they can fulfill
their basic needs. This could only be stopped by providing enough job
opportunities.
Overall, the lower age of
criminals nowadays is a Grave issue; however, it has pragmatic solutions.
